The Instagram-themed Mural created for the ‘It’s Malabar’ restaurant in Al Dierra, Dubai, is a perfect example of how art can transform a space and make it more inviting and engaging. The client approached the artists with a challenge of a dent in the wall for a rectangle lightbox, which limited the wall’s potential usage. To overcome this challenge, the team came up with the idea of converting the wall into an Instagram-themed Mural, which would also utilize the lightboard box.
The Mural was a huge success, attracting people to pause and pose in front of it, making it a landmark in the area. The use of vibrant colors and the realistic depiction of an Instagram screen added a fun and playful element to the space, making it more inviting and appealing to the customers.
